Design
Envision…
a shell strewn beach as your wall
Sleeping under a dazzling night sky ceiling of clay and mother of pearl
Soaking in a turquoise bath.
Clay can be smooth as a stone or rough as a mountain.
An amazing variety of surfaces and textures can be created depending on the type,
thickness and the structure of the clay plaster.
Clay can be flattened, sponged, brushed,
polished and treated with oils.
It can also be strengthened in a natural way with substances
like eggs, starch, casein, etc.
Using natural materials only, we can create the rich texture of a clay mix,
smooth it to a velvety touch or achieve a polished marble look, like the stucco of an Italian villa.
Materials like stones and crystals, leaves, bones, ornaments and tiles can also be added to the texture of the wall.
Many different shapes can be sculpted out of clay to create figures, bas reliefs, niches, lamps, benches etc.
And once its done, its not over. Like nature, clay is alive and can keep transforming.
Because clay plaster can be wet again and again, a clay wall can be changed many times.
Color
Forget that clay is only brown and step into a rich world of earthen colors.
E-art-H uses only natural clay pigments and metal oxides that provide an ample range of colors.
Using them we can achieve shades from ivory white,
to green and volcanic black passing through glowing yellows and ochre’s, oranges and reds.
